Some handmade soaps start with a perfectly planned formula. Others take a more interesting route. Galaxy Glitter is one of those soaps—a dark, cosmic bar created by reworking two earlier small batches into something entirely new.

The result is a glossy charcoal-black glycerin soap with fluted sides, a blue-silver holographic surface, a touch of exfoliating texture, and a fresh cologne-style fragrance led by a Light Blue–inspired finish.

A Small-Batch Soap Worth Reworking

The original Galaxy Glitter batches shared the same dark, starry attitude, but they were made with different cologne-inspired fragrance profiles and slightly different additions. Rather than leave those experiments behind, we melted and combined them, then finished the new batch with a fresh Light Blue–inspired fragrance.

That process gave the final bars a layered scent that feels crisp, clean, and aquatic, with the smooth energy of a modern cologne. It is fresh enough for an everyday shower but still distinctive enough to feel like something special.

Because this is a reworked handmade batch—not a factory formula repeated by a machine—the finished bars have their own character. Every cut catches the light differently, and no two shimmer patterns are exactly alike.

Designed Like a Piece of the Night Sky

The visual contrast is what makes Galaxy Glitter stand out. The body is a deep charcoal black with vertical fluted sides that reflect narrow bands of light. Across the top is a dense blue-silver holographic shimmer that flashes blue, violet, green, and silver depending on the angle.

Under bathroom lighting, the finish looks almost like a field of stars against a black sky. The decorative surface shimmer gradually diminishes with use, revealing more of the solid dark bar underneath.

What Gives Galaxy Glitter Its Texture?

Galaxy Glitter begins with a glycerin soap base and includes several additions carried through the reworked batch:

  • Charcoal creates the dramatic black color.
  • Pink clay adds to the bar’s handmade formulation and feel.
  • Pumice provides a light exfoliating texture without turning the bar into an aggressive scrub.
  • Galaxy shimmer creates the blue-silver cosmic finish across the surface.
  • Light Blue–inspired fragrance leads the final scent with a clean, citrus-aquatic cologne character.

Handmade Means Every Bar Is Different

We weighed nine bars from the finished batch. Their average weight is approximately 137 grams (4.84 ounces), with the measured bars ranging from 108 to 158 grams (3.81 to 5.57 ounces).

That variation is part of the small-batch process. The bars are individually poured and cut, so their exact shape, weight, shimmer placement, and edge pattern naturally differ. The product listing represents the batch as a whole, and each order receives one uniquely finished bar.
